Thanks in advance!!
Thanks in advance!!

A few of my favorite places to eat in downtown area: The Flying Fish (hot boiled shrimp and a bucket of beer), The Rendezvous (dry ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, etc), Texas de Brazil (all you can eat variety of steak, chicken, lamb, etc), The Butcher Shop, Spaghetti Ware House, and many others.

Holler at me when you get in town. Some pretty good barbeque up here, and good steaks, many of the favorites have been mentioned, I like Folks Folly as well, but my budget cannot stand too many trips there....

Texas de Brazil is best food in the world if you like grilled meat. Rendezevous , pretty good dry ribs. Kooky canuck, big beers and great burgers, go to a Redbirds game. Not much to do in memphis but eat and drink, but those are my two favorite thangs!!!

I agree with the others and here are a few extras........
You should visit the National Bird Dog Museum and Ames Plantation
http://www.birddogfoundation.com/nation ... museum.htm
I am partial to locally owned places rather than the national chains. So, places to eat that were not mentioned, The Commisary (BBQ joint located in Germantown), Neelys Interstate BBQ (on 3rd Street go for lunch), Buckleys (Steaks, as good as folks folly but reasonably priced), the General Store in Brunswick, TN has catfish on Thursday and Friday nights, Vinegar Jims in Arlington, TN, Hueys (good atmosphere and great burgers) and Toms BBQ (great pulled pork sandwich at Getwell and Raines again, go for lunch). Sure I'll think of more and will add later.
Go to DU to tour the HQ, I no longer support em, but it is a huge part of the waterfowl world. I totally agree with RR, get with the Waterfowler and take a look at his almost 2000 sq. ft. birds, birds and more birds! Give me a shout and maybe we can get together while you are here this time.

If you want the best BBQ in Memphis I highly suggest
The BBQ Shop on Madison ask for chris and tell him
Jason sent you there
there's plenty here in the Memphis area to do just when
the street lights come on make sure you have heat in your
pocket.
I good with a big meet and greet with you all

Another good steak joint is Ruths Criss or how ever you spell it, gotta go to Owen Brennans for Sunday Brunch its pretty good. Beale has become a jig hangout so after dark proceed with caution. The Zoo is ok but the heat makes it near miserable. I have a patio, grill and a fridge full of beer also not a bad place to kick it. Red Eye does not live far from me I don't think.
Damn, i thought I had that one
Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?
