We should make the tourney every year. Settle for nothing less. We have had the players every year to do that. We have not had the coaching to do that every year. Basketball has been about the only big 3 sport at State in which we have the talent to compete for the SEC championship every year and yet aside from about 3 years during his career we have not. And we don't make the tourney nearly every year. When we do get there we flop. Williams took us the to the Final Four not Stans.

I bet there are a lot of schools out there hoping that he gets fired. If State's football program was winning 7-8 games every year, I'd be happy. That is the equivalent of what the Basketball team does every year.

Having said that much. I am tired of Collegiate sports. The N.C.A.A. rules with impunity. Officiating has way too much influence in the outcome of games. Basically, it has all gone to crap.

I use to get upset about State loosing games, now I go hunting and let other folks get mad.

Be willing to bet he would play those early games different now! Win those two early and we wouldn't be sayin shoulda woulda coulda, we would be goin dancin. Any coach who coaches to lose a marginal game that "doesn't count" like the one to Ryder, obviously doesn't get the big picture at all!

You guys have lost your mind. Rick Stansbury is an excellent coach. How many games you go to? He coaches the whole way through every game. Although we have lost some close ones he can't make freethrows himself, you guys need to get off him.
