need some help

Postby khines2 » Mon Nov 30, 2009 5:24 pm

i have got a place that i have hunted for the past few years but it has grown up big time. It is covered in all sorts of weeds and vegetation and it is thick! so thick in some spots that you can walk on it. there is alot of buck brush in it also. We have been wanting to build a good trail, possible boat trail, and to make the holes bigger without the thick mat of weeds and grass. is there anything yall suggest to kill this stuff?

Sounds like you need to talk to a biologist and possibly get some recommendations. Alot of variables there. Chemical as well as flood control may be the answer, but until you have someone look at it, would probably be a best guess scenario.

SWAG is right. Get a professional to identify what you have or take good pics of the plants giving you problems. Chemical control will probably be your best option for quickness and efficiency, but you need to know exactly what plants they are to get the correct herbicides.
