Has anyone heard about her being a member of the group Laraza? Heard about it on the radio today but just caught the tail end of it. Sounded like they were nothing but a racist group but noone seems to be talking about it.

Yeah that a grilling her booty...the bad thing is that no matter how questionable her ethics are or how she plays the race card, or even how liberal she is, she will still be appointed an put in. What the heck are these hearings for?

The purpose of the hearing is to fulfill the requirements of Article II, Sec. 2 of the US Constution which provides that the President ,"shall have the power, by and with the advice and consent of the senate, . . . appoint judges of the supreme court." The confirmation process has not always involved Senate hearings, but the Senate's role to advise and consent to the nominee has developed into the process we have now.

How can she not be asked about this in the hearing, or at minimum it not be all over the news? To me this is way more interesting than Plastic Jackson and his kids paternity battle.
