How do you handle this

Postby tunica » Mon Oct 20, 2003 5:51 am

In Theory: You spend a few days clearing willows from a duck hole you hunted for 15 years. You have felled all the new growth and stacked tied the willows into bundles for dragging. You come back to do more work and low and behold someone is dragging a blind into your spot. Now you have a issue its clear to a blindman someone has been working on the hole and its also apparent that its not the work of a super beaver either.

Yea, your first thoughts are beat the stew out of that fella but come on does that solve the problem....so what would you do besides fight.

Let's hope for the best-- Some people will "trudge on" w/ their agenda until confronted. They won't offer much resistance... So, get in their face at first opprtunity and by all means keep working on the spot as if you ain't going to swerve in this game of chicken.

I am with ya Duckmen, so of the worst altercations I have been involved in associated with duck hunting have been with grown men that were 35+ years old. In most cases I feel that just the fact that you would question them is somewhat of an insult and embarrasses them infront of their peers. Just my .02 cents.
