I hunted Muscidine last year. Wingman is right it is old catfish ponds. The water level was only about knee deep. There were alot of ducks and more than alot of snows and blues. We had a bad experience because of some sky busters next to us. They actually shot when we had a flight fo pintails cupped and almost on us and there wasnt a duck within 200 yards of them.

I liked the looks of the place. Hip waders would do. A dog might be nice although we didnt have to use one.
