Re: deer stands and duck blinds
I had a project similiar to this up at State but we didnt have to sell it. You have a couple of things going against you though if you are trying to make money. The price of steel is to high to turn a profit on if you dont buy enough of it to start with and that its the wrong time of season to try to start selling hunting stands or pits. It would be cool to sell a hunting item but with both seasons ending you are not going to have alot of your average buyers interested in investing in hunting products this time of year unless you have a hell of a deal. You might want to to look at making the cargo mount that hook up to a draw hitch instead of the stands or pits. Course the best senario I could say is build a duck sled, a deer stand, a cargo mount, ect.. whatever you want to sell. Then demo it and take orders, that way you dont waste time, money, and materials.

i dont think i would even bother buying a 4x8 skid blind, if im gonna take all the trouble to get it out there and brush it in, i would at least want it to hold a few more people. at least four.
