I was in a deer club that had a similar situation. They found an old single wide trailer that had burned, got the frame to it and laid it across the creek (big creek). anchored it with elevator wire and a few pilings.

I think we used an old railroad car at the camp. It supports tractors, trucks, pretty much whatever you wanty to drive across it.
