vet school is a nice option but will end up costing you more in the long run, they will work up every little thing your dog has, in the name of teaching, not saying this is a bad thing but does get into your pockets a little, especially if you are a broke college student like I was.. anyway I would suggest the Dr's right on 25 by the trailer park been awhile so I dont remember there names, I think one was a Bumgardner, anyway good luck....

I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

yeh Dr. Anthony is the man I was thinking of, its been awhile since the Vegas days, and yeh I guess I do remember Dr. Bumgardner being the surgeon, sorry.
Well I know times change but the Vet school seemed to be expensive,
about 1997 my lab got hit by a car, long story, so I called the vet school, diagnosed a diaphirmatic(sp) hernia and said it would cost 13 bills, went to Dr. Anthony or his partner at the time dont remember his name either, he told me around 8 bills and some change to fix Dixie, found out while in his office my room mate's brother trained under him at State and was practicing in Memphis, Doc told me that the dog would be fine for the trip he called Charlie about the case, and just charged me for a regular visit,
Needless to say I got her fixed for cost, but there was a $500 dollar difference between the vet school and Dr. Anthonys office. Plus his partner, not sure if he is still there, taught internal med. at the vet school, and was understood to be one of the best in the country in his field.
Like I said, not talking down the vet school, just mentioning there is an option at a college students price, also, as said before, Dr. Anthony likes to talk ducks...
