WILDLIFE EXTRAVAGANZA MEETING

Can someone give me a run down on what is happening there, or what usually takes place, and what sort of vendors (if any) will be there? I might drive over but didn't want to drive 4 hrs and not much going on.

Thanks guys.

usually a good show,
More vendors than I can post but it has a lot of shows and booths.

Not near as big as the DU show in Memphis but one of the best Mississippi has to offer.

Guns, dogs, camo stuff, deer hunting stuff, Guns, all kinds of hunting stuff. etc etc etc

Duckmen - Thanks for the reply. That's what I was needing to know. I love these kind of shows if there is something to buy!

I thought about going over to Columbus (2 hr drive) to the State DU Convention. I don't imagine there would be as much stuff there.

Well, there have always been SEVERAL vendors at the extravaganza.....everything from guides, atv's, boats, fishing gear, all types of hunting equipment. You name it, you can probably find it there.

I'm probably going to be there either Saturday or Sunday or maybe both days. So, let me know something about the "meeting."

I read that it is going to be at the Trade Mart(?) Bldg on the State Fair Grounds. It starts Friday, August 3rd and runs through Sunday, August 5th.

Guys, I read in the paper that they were going to have a duck calling contest on Saturday at 1:00pm. I won't be able to go until Sunday. It's a good show they usually have some seminars on everything from dog training to deer management. Plus if you chew or dip all the free samples you can get.
