question about migrating ducks

Postby SHANE704 » Mon Dec 23, 2013 10:43 am

Have any of you guys really paid attention to the weather when you go hunting and there has been a large push of new ducks into the area? Im just wondering if ducks ride the front down or come the day before/day after...or if they wait til everything is froze solid then start moving down? Just tryin to get a handle on what im lookin for when it comes to determining what days to hunt when a cold front comes thru...

I go every day that I am not in the office. Weather dictates where and how, but not if I hunt.

Usually day after the hunt is the best. When it is too cold and frozen birds may not move or may head out to the river. I like sunny or partly cloudy. With 6-10mph. North anything wind. Temps 55-30
