Thanks guys for all the info, looking like the Ranger is still the hunters favorite.
Teul, all the info you can get me is much appreciated. i really wish the commander had a larger bed. that would be great

Just got a 14 800 ranger crew is there any way to lean the front seat back just a little?

My brother has the commander 1000, and that thing is bad ass! All the power you will ever need and then some. The bed does look a little small, but we've hauled a big decoy bag with 3 dozen decoys, a dog, and our guns in a gun rack mounted to the bars without much problem in the bed. You've also got the lower compartment that opens up to haul blind bags, etc. in. And they're coming out with the commander crew sometime. If I was in the market, I would definitely be looking hard at the can-am.

I/We've had an older mule, all the honda wheelers, and an older ranger, I finally traded my brute force and got a UTV strictly for hunting, working and the occasional play rides during the offseason and I went with the new Ranger 900 and couldn't be happier. I do like the new Honda Big red, but I've been pleased with my ranger, going on a year.

I've got an 11' Big Red, couldn't be happier with it. it is a beast pulling a load. and it has handled some pretty nasty trails. only reason id trade it would be to get the new pioneer4. i not sure when i would need more power than it has, cuz it has never failed to spin the tires when needed, even loaded to the gills. so if being "under powered" means it'll never leave me stranded due to a dang broke belt or slipped belt. i think i'll keep running the "under powered" BR
