He is using the camera trick where you hold the deer out in front away from your body. Its actually a spike.

Heard he killed it over a giant corn pile at night while hunting for black panthers in Iowa. Awesome deer and I am sure the haters are already starting rumors about it.

Happens every time a big deer is killed. Last year a guy that used to work for me killed a good one on public land. He is a stand up guy and hard hunter. Mississippi Sportsman did an article on it and when they posted on Facebook there was all kinds of negative comments claiming he killed it in a pen, or at night, or must be nice to hunt high dollar clubs.

What a buck, but when I read that it score 210 typical, I almost laughed. Then I read that it was on the "Buckmaster" scoring system, which is a complete joke. Truly an epic deer but it won't break 190" B+C after all the deductions from the junk it has. But that still doesn't take away from how awesome the deer is. I just read that the state record is 184", so it is possible it could beat that.

Here's just the pic from the article:

There's something not quite right about that story. I've never met anyone from Louisiana that would pass up an 8pt or a 10pt...
