Looking for some old rusty tin

Postby southernvaughan » Wed Aug 15, 2012 1:20 pm

I need some to put in the ceiling of my cabin. Looking for barns, houses, or sheds to tear down for materials.

As far as easy the new tin + acid would be the ticket. Cheap/free are the only good things about old tin. The draw backs will be crinkles and nail holes, but maybe that's what you want. I put old tin on a deer stand and it was a pain with all the crinkles.

I have an old barn I am planning to tear down. It has old tin walls and roof. Your welcome to all of it you want to pull off. Might be too far, its off Hwy 15 south in Jones county between laurel and richton. If interested I can get some pics tomorrow.

That's how it's gone so far. Also there is now a big porch all the way across the front there.
