Re: Ask DS - Daycare

Find you a nanny to come to your house. Ask the kid doctors and nurses. Put the word out. Good honest folks out there. Both of mine stayed at home. And avoided all the daycare sickness and drama. But the sickness caught up with them at pre-school, seemed like every two weeks,, FEVER! Just look for ...

Re: lawn care and maint. ---need to kill the stickers

first of all you have to know what kind of grass you are spraying. if you have Bermuda - MSMA will work. for St. Augustine you can spray 24D, atrazine, or Escort. St. Augustine is just about sensitive to anything you put on it - so make sure you follow labels. As far as the sticker weeds - they are ...

Re: New Compound Bow Recommendations

There are a lot of great bows on the market. choose one of the following - Bowtech, Matthews, elite, Hoyt. They are all good - just go shoot them and find one you like. I would definatly get one in the 70# range. However - the way you set it up is much more important than the actual bow you buy. you...

Re: Flatback aluminum pirogue

I remember when you sere selling that boat. it was a really nice rig.

I have a 14' old starcraft. its V nose, but its pretty flat with rounded sides. it gets through the woods really good with a long tail.....

it is comparable to a sport boat - you may find one for little of nothing.

Re: Residential shop/metal building

a Friend of mine here in forest can get you a smoking deal on a pole barn. He buys old chicken houses and takes them down and builds hay barns and all types of buildings. He will re-use the old trusses and some lumber but can put you all new metal on the sides - really he can do what ever you need -...

Re: Gun Safe

i'm not really interested in dropping $2500 on a safe to protect a few $600 deer rifles and duck guns - those can be replaced pretty easily.

i'm most interested in keeping the guns in a secure location for my kids....

Moved into a new house this week.

I plugged everything up and got an error of some kind....

Gun Safe

I'm moving into a new house soon and I am in bad need of a gun safe. Looked at the Liberty safes in Pearl. Looked at the colonial series - 64 gun safe -- which is probably way more than I will ever need. but its going in a room where looks matter - so I will need plenty of storage for odds and ends ...
