Great looking flies. I'm thinking they will catch a few.

I've had Zeiss Conquest binos for several years. Crystal clear and durable. I'd buy them again.

Re: How many of you guys shoot TSS?
Good data, teul. And accurate. I don't care about shooting geese at 80 yds. I'd just like for them to die at 40 yds.

Re: How many of you guys shoot TSS?
I haven't tried TSS on turkeys. But a good friend swears by it. He did NA slam this season with a 20ga and TSS. So I guess it works pretty well. Don't think I'd go to the expense of using it on ducks. But it would sure help on early season honkers. This past season, we had honkers take direct hits t...

Re: Has Social Media killed DS?
I'm all for condensing the forums, too. New Posts is all I ever hit unless I'm searching some old thread. Here's the funny thing about FB (not on other social media), you scroll through pages and pages of garbage for each interesting thing that comes along. And I'm pretty good about setting notifica...

Re: Interesting timber article
I haven't hunted that many of the AR WMAs. But the few I hunt regularly all show signs of sick trees in places. It's better that AGFC get a plan in place to protect and perpetuate the resources rather than ride this horse into the dirt. Honestly with the flyway seeming to shift westward, now is the ...

Re: RNT calls ID
Great examples and explanation, GC. The old milling machines shaped the calls (particularly the toneboards) differently. Close inspection shows it. I don't know if the "saw cut" is really the difference between older calls and newer calls. The story goes that RNT changed the mapping instru...

How do they ride in the water? They look great. Just wondering if you had to play with weight to balance the movement on the retrieve.

If he's coming into his prime and there's been good browse, a buck could make a jump in class like that. It may just be his prime time and he's the new BDoC!
