Re: MS Outdoors TV Pursuit channel

Well my predictions about MS trying to be like Missouri was realized last night when I watched the waterfowl episode on the MS Outdoors tv program They made a point to say they are trying to model our waterfowl program after MO... Even said they went up there to a public area and went through the d...

Re: Canon EOS Rebel XS Digital SLR Camera with Canon EF-S 18

Yes, that camera will do fine! Depending on condition of the camera I would say $200-$250 for the camera body and battery, charger and software. The lens would probably add $50 to it. Check used retailer pricing at http://www.keh.com and see how they price it. I usually adjust downward for an indivi...

I gotta admit I really like it too. It isn't in the cards right now, but you never can tell. I visit a handful of forums on it and often do ao because it is easier than using a browser.

Re: Cutdown calling contest

My Olt's and other clones were always about killing ducks, nothing more nothing less.... it just seems counter-intuitive to start making a competition out of them. It isn't something I'd probably ever participate in even if I had the free time, but if you can get enough folks interested it might be ...

Re: Talk me out of a SBE II

I'm partial to the 3" Benellis myself, nothing wrong with the SBE though, after I started using hevi-shot I hardly ever use a 3.5" anymore.... I love my Beretta Xtrema2, but started getting light hammer strikes with it last year. That gun was beat to hell and back, carried to Alaska hunted...

Re: A few observations after the opening weekend

There is a lot of residual dissatisfaction from having the first losing season in 50 years last year. We are also INCREDIBLY thin at ILB...and that fact that we have scholarships left on the table is causing a bit of ire. We had a walk-on receive significant playing time last Saturday. The call in s...

Re: A few observations after the opening weekend

Po Monkey, good insight as usual...I can guarantee you the Richt family and UGA fans are hoping you're right about our team.... Things are nasty in Athens right now. A win Saturday will go a long way, an 0-2 start may seal Richt's fate.

Re: Canon vs Tamron lense

Okay, no replies so I will be listing this lens in the classifieds over the weekend. I think my prices were a tad high, so I will go for $325 w/o the lens cap and $350 with. Prices are to your doorstep insured, standard ground shipping.

Re: Canon vs Tamron lense

Do your research, I have a Tamrom 28-75 f2.8 that is a cracker jack little lens, will definitely hang pretty close with the Canon L version for about half the price...but for big lenses I would try to stay away from third party lenses if I could afford it. I have owned a few sigma's and they have t...

It depends, since it is in a trust the answer will depend on how the trust is setup. I'm a bit north of Batesville, but I will be more than willing to discuss it with you or give you a referral, if you're interested shoot me a PM and I'll send you my phone number.
