The ranger would fit your needs. As long as your trails are wide enough it go where a atv will go and have seen them go thru places atvs wouldnt.

I traded in my 07 rhino on a 10 ranger 800 xp. The ranger is 10 x quieter than the rhino. You have to run the ranger in low or u will burn a belt. My son has already burned one. The belt system is not as good as the rhino but that is my only complaint.

They make the barnes tsx in 85 gr for the 6mm.

There was a recall on the first ones produced. The bottom section was bending.

If you will be going thru mud you need either the ranger or the rhino. My dad has a rhino and I have 2 friends with rangers. I know someone that has a ranger crew and were happy it.
