Re: Highway access

I think this is pretty normal. Several years ago, i called the county to see what i needed to do to put a culvert in for access to my house site, and they sent someone to meet me so i could show where i wanted it. A couple of days later they were putting it in.

Re: Suppressors, trusts

Contact Mississippi Auto Arms in Oxford. The owners are also attorneys, they've done massive research on this and have it down pat. Good folks to deal with as well. My take is yes, go with a trust, otherwise if something happens to you, your family can't legally own the supressor. This for sure. I ...

Re: A little off-season fun

That is pretty cool. I've heard/read somewhere that the spotters for military snipers can see the vapor trail off the bullets by tweaking their scopes a bit out of focus, but i've never seen it personally.

Re: Creek crossings

If you don’t need to span an distance with height and just need some grip and stability in the wet spots, we’ve laid tracks of ww2 aircraft landing mats. They hook together and lay on the ground and provide some rigidity to cross some wet spring fed creeks. http://aviationwarehouse.net/novelties-fo...

Re: Ask DS -> Electric fence around food plot

i tried to find some examples, but came up short on my search. I've seen some farmers post pictures of fences they have put up in their fields to keep deer out. Most of them will put up two sets of wires. The outermost wire will be close to the ground, maybe a foot if that, and then about 5 feet ins...

Re: Brain Trust Questions

Me and about 3 other guys moved one for an old boss one time. Had a truck with a Tommy Lift on it that we used to lift it. He had some kind of dolly that we were able to get it set up on to roll it along inside the house. Just a home made job with 2x4's and rubber wheel casters from Home Depot. It w...

Deer Hunting Club

Guys, we just had a new fella start where i work, and he is looking for somewhere to deer hunt this fall. He moved from Louisiana, and hasn't made any contacts in the area yet. Anyone know of something 2-3 hours from Cleveland with opening? Looking to keep it less then $2500/year.
Thanks

Re: Suicide in teens

There's a pretty solid correlation in the increase in suicide and the increase of being diagnosed with a learning disability. The truth is we take kids and feed them speed and keep them flooded with dopamine then they grow up and stop taking it and there is such a chemical imbalance it leads to maj...

Cooking forum

Wasn't there a cooking forum at some time? Did it go away when the refit happened awhile back? If so did those threads get erased, or are they archived somewhere?

Re: Intro

Welcome aboard man. Make sure you have your boots on when you log on, as the BS gets pretty deep around here. And if you ever get bored, make sure you search for a thread named "lost boat and blind bag." That will kind of set the bar as to what kind of crowd is here.
