Re: Today!!!!!
I think you guys are over thinking it which is exactly the problem... you are thinking. Not to sound pretentious but I believe education might be a factor. You don't have a "Procurement Trash" stick for the same reason that you contribute to your 401k instead of making payments on a F250 K...

Re: Question for CWINK or other carriers
Here are my thoughts: - have a gun that is sized such that it is comfortable to carry so you will be more likely to carry it than leave it at home. A 380 on the hip is much better than a 45 in the safe when there is a need for it. - have a gun that you are comfortable shooting and that you can shoot...

Re: anyone built an AR platform rifle
If you intend to do the upper from scratch, you will need a NO GO gauge to set the head spacing. I've always thought the headspace "is what it is" when the barrel had its chamber reamed by the gunsmith. How do you "set" the headspace? I've only assembled two uppers from scratch ...

Re: New Truck? Ford or Chevy
Before putting larger, 10 ply tires and leveling kit on my Tundra I was getting 17mpg. Now I'm getting 14, but that is off slightly due to the larger tires. This is in line with what my Sierra was getting. I am also eligible for the GM employee discount through a family member, but due to my past e...

Re: New Truck? Ford or Chevy
I have a 2007 GMC and haven't really had any issues out of it. Its got 130k miles on it now. I hope to ride it to the 10 year mark. Toyota is supposed to be making a Tundra with a 5.0 Cummings diesel soon. The Nissan rumor came true so maybe the 2016 model year for Toyota. Either way I will be looki...

Re: E-Tec vs Suzuki 4 stroke?
Take a look at the new Tohatsu 40/50 four stroke. I hear that it is quite the performer with a nice price tag. The 40 and 50 are the same engine with different ECM programming. I would say Yamaha but you will pay a premium price. Suzuki seems to be the next best thing, but my experience is in 150 HP...

Re: Anybody built a 3- or 4-rail fence
I built about 500 feet of 3 board fence last year. I used the 5/4x16' deck boards with 4x4 post with post spacing. 6x6 post at the gates. I think it turned out pretty good. I can be pretty particular when I am building something. I was concerned about the warping and second guest the material as I w...

Sab316....you seem to want to address/fix a lot of issues/problems (weed, prison system, racism) that have a small impact(in comparison) on society. I don't smoke weed. I don't care if you do, but don't tell me the sky is falling and weed is the answer. I have no issue with selling medical marijuan...
