Exactly, if you did not hunt, you might not be conserned about conservation. I think that's a sentiment shared by most.

I'm glad to hear she's doin' well, Softcall. The only limitation of these pups are the limitation of the owner. I know that I didn't get the full potential out of the squealer when she was being trained by me.

Keep up the good work!!

Hambone, that sounded like you've been doing some technical analysis on shotgun shell ballistics. Are you feelin' alright?

Agreed, Warren Coco is an extremly nice individual. He has been most accomidating in helping me with my problems that I mentioned above. When I had my first breakdown, I called Go-Devil from the boat ramp and told them I was driving down from MS. They made arrangements to have my engine repaired whi...

I've got a 25. It's biggest limitation as far as water depth is the condition of the bottom. A greentree res with a hard bottom is an example of a condition where this motor will not work without 6-7 inches or more of water. You've got to be able to get the anti-cavitation plate below the surface to...

Maybe it's just me but I am convinced that all waders suck. Some may suck worse than others, but they all suck. Either that, or I have the worst luck ever. The longest lasting pair of waders I've ever owned at the original Hodgeman's. I had two pair of them bought back around 1986 that lasted nearly...

Capt'n T, I'll assume from your suggestion you are putting the alcohol on Fido's head, but I am not sure I know why.

Duckmen. Here's what I don't like about most retail sales environments. The MM is probably the same way. A person who calls in on the telephone gets the higher priority than a person standing at the checkout counter waving a fist full of cash trying to get checked out. Why the heck should I have to ...

Duckmen, since you get so "pissed off" each time you go to the MM, simply mail me the gift certificate. I'll gladly take it off of your hands since it sounds like you are not going to use it. And be sure to include your return address so I can write you a thank you letter. I like the Mean Mallard, i...

I've always had my best luck fishing during late Spring - early Summer, when the river is up in Chotard. I've never done any good this late in the Summer, but I only fish in the daytime. I think you need the higher water conditions to make the fish more active. So if you can find those conditions an...

The Mean Mallard in Jackson had the 3 inch shells for around $85 per case last year. I don't know about the elephant rounds your're asking about.

The MM always has competetive prices on shotgun shells and great customer service to boot. You should give them a call.
