Re: Ole Miss v Alabama Prediction Thread

Webbie I know you live in Bama but pain is not a prediction. Both sides will have some pain during the game. Now, How about a prediction? Winner, score?

Re: Ole Miss v Alabama Prediction Thread

As an Ole Miss fan, I hate to agree with Webbie. This game is not even the biggest game the Rebels have played in the past year. The Auburn game last year was bigger than this game. We were 3 games away from not only playing for the SEC championship but also in the playoff. If Treadwell doesn't go d...

Re: Ole Miss v Alabama Prediction Thread

As an Ole Miss fan I have a few thoughts on Saturday night and will not make a prediction. 1. It is fun thinking the Rebels might actually have a chance to play in the SEC championship game and even the playoff. If Ole Miss can win Saturday they will move into the top 4 based on first two games and ...

Re: Tunsil

Stang - Not sure why myself or anyone else would call that racist. The facts are Wilson has been thrown out of his gravy train, so its a fair question. Then again we all know lawyers take cases pro bono to get the recognition. Now as for you - You seem to have problems understanding what others are ...

Re: Tunsil

Stang67 - Did I call you out by name? No I ask what everyone thought. You were the one that got defensive so quick. I am not throwing anything around just asking a simple question to why people don't think she could afford to move to Oxford. Mainly because as a society we jump to conclusions without...

Re: Tunsil

Lots of parents don't have to move as they live close enough to drive into the games. Tunsil's mother is a nurse and was a single mother. I don't blame her for wanting to get a job close to where her son is playing ball. I would imagine she will also leave and go where he is in the NFL unless he pla...

Re: Tunsil

Po Monk - The sad part of all of this are the ones questioning Tonsil's mother moving to Oxford. What do they base this belief on? 1. She is black thus she is poor? 2. She is black thus she doesn't work? 3. Oxford does not let black residents move in? 4. Oxford has no hospital thus no need for nurse...

Re: Tunsil

Just to clear up some things. When Ole Miss signed the huge class with Tunsil, the NCAA (as it does with several schools) was in Oxford for 6 months to check on things. NOTHING was found and Tunsil was one of he main targets as Georgia was making wild accusations. Every year the NCAA interviews the ...

Re: College World Series - scholarships........

GH22 I have a wife that is a high school teacher and 2 kids at Ole Miss. WE know where to look for scholarships. I have 1 child with a 29 act and her school is paid for. The other with a 26 is getting about $2,750 per semester. Income and several other factors go into getting a full ride but I can t...

Re: College World Series - scholarships........

I can tell you that a Kid at Ole Miss with a 26 act and 3.9 GPA in high school will not have tuiton covered by Mississippi scholarships.

Re: Rebel cure for summer doldrums

Thanks Po Monk. Enjoyed those. My favorite play is watching Cody Core on the 91 yard run by Walton. Core is about 3 yards behind Walton and then in 30 yards he is in front of him blocking. Core can fly.

Re: Ole Miss fans -- baseball next year

So you think non-conference was pretty even? State played 19 non-conference games at home to start the season. Ole Miss went to UCF and Louisville and played Wright State 3 at home. Ole Miss played the 23rd rpi non-conference schedule while Ms State played the 216 rpi non-conference schedule. That's...
