Re: .300 blackout ammo for deer
Been doing lots of research on hunting with subsonics. 200 grain subsonics suppressed from my rifle are whisper quiet. I have been trying to get my hands on some of the Lehigh defense subsonic ammo with no luck. a gun guy around here loaded up some subsonics with the 200 grain Maker controlled expan...

Re: Well we made a 2,000 mile move
I know a canyon up there that is slap full of elk I saw 9 big shooter bulls one afternoon there and well over 100 elk.
its right off the big lost river and I can give you the coordinates if you like - its public land.
My brother took a nice 6x6 there that year with archery gear.

Re: Building a cabin
If I were to do it - I would have running water - if only it was a small pump hooked up to a sink / shower. we hooked a 12v pump to a 500 gallon tank at our deer camp and it works great. we just use it to wash hands off after cleaning a deer and what not. tank gets filled by the gutter and downspout...

Re: Raising your own Beef
I have considered doing this myself so I know where the meat comes from.. I heard but haven't looked into it yet that the FDA is no longer making companies label where their meat is coming from.. Another concern is the amount of muslims I hear about working in the processing industry which I can on...

Re: Raising your own Beef

Also Being in the Meat business I have access to some of the finest cuts of beef there are. I keep a stock of Wagyu Ribeyes and fillets in my freezer. so I don't want to do it ...

Re: Letter to Editor in Vburg Post
^^^Apples and oranges, jd^^^ This deer was destroyed because of what it might do. The deer tags your farmer friend has is for what deer will do. Big difference. I agree - its apples and oranges..... but my point is the STATE decides the fate of these animals - and in my opinion they don't do a grea...

Re: Letter to Editor in Vburg Post
Yall don't get your panty's in a wad about 1 deer. think about all the summer tags that farmers get to shoot deer because they eat there soy beans. a farmer local to my area has a couple 100 acres of beans - his land backs up to my deer camp. this year he got 50 deer tags to shoot and let them lay b...
