Re: M and P Shield....
How do you guys carry your extra mags? I use a soft case pocket knife case that you run your belt through. I lost the knife a couple years ago and found the extra shield mag fits in nicely and the Velcro flap holds everything tight. Knives in this part of the country are very common so it does not ...

Re: Shooting house plans critique
Thanks for the input guys. I am researching the poles based on the suggestions. It will be flooded in this bottom and I believe at times it can be quick. I will make some adjustments in the framing as well.

Re: M and P Shield....
I carry mine everyday as well. I really like it. I had a Taurus slim stolen and liked it for the price. I shot it well but always said I would get a Shield 9mm if something happened to the Taurus. The Taurus was stolen in a vehicle theft and I purchased the Shield. If something happens to this Shiel...

Re: Shooting house plans critique
Is it "over built"? From the ones I've looked at, many to most do not have the "studs" so to speak.
I have not priced it all yet. Design may change once it's priced.

Shooting house plans critique
I have not built a shooting house before but threw one together on the computer last night. I am looking for those with experience to give suggestions on the good and bad of my plans. This shooting house will be in a bottom that can get up to 4-5ft of water during the rainy season. Post are 4x4 Jois...

Re: Foundation issue - rainfall
Structural Solutions is the company that did the original work. They also came out and did the adjustments. As far as the engineer, what exactly would he be able to tell me regarding the current installed pilings? Another poster asked where the pilings were, I've attached a picture to show this. It ...

Re: Foundation issue - rainfall
Jacked might of been a bad choice of words. The previous homeowners bought a lifetime transferable warranty on 10 pilings around the back of the property. Only 3 have moved (significantly) in the 6 years the pilings have been there. 3 pilings were worked adjusted in the summer.

Foundation issue - rainfall
I had my foundation worked on middle summer. They jacked the house about an inch and a half. Because of the drought, my house is now dropped by about an inch and a half. I was thinking that as the ground water increased, my house may move back up as the mud swells. Any truth to my thinking?

Re: Changing from iphone to Android
Had the original galaxy, s3 and now s5. Each phone has gotten better and better. The removable battery and sd card is great. I keep a spare battery in my wife's purse for longer trips or emergencies. The s5 has "super power saving mode" that you can enable that cuts the phone down to the b...

Re: Arkie trout trip
I've thrown ultra lites up there with salmon eggs and had a blast. This year I dedicated all my fishing time to the fly rod for bream/bass/crappie. I'm looking forward to fly fishing for trout.

Re: Sod guys
The sod is laid in an area where it will get filtered sunlight through out the day. Slight slope from back to front. We lightly fertilized after laying it and it's been 4-6 weeks since. I watered it pretty good early and I've tapered back on the watering. But it sounds like I can leave these pieces ...

Sod guys
Laid sod about 4-6 weeks ago. Some has done well and other pieces are very sparse. Looking at the pictures, do I need to cull the sparse pieces and lay new pieces or give the grass time to spread? I've fertilized once and about to go again. ? http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/27/66d692a70e9ca189a...

Re: Rewiring the 1652 g3
if you have the time, I would re wire the boat. This will save you many frustrations down the road trying to track down problems. Plus you will remember how it is wired and can trouble shoot much easier if there is a problem. Nothing worse than flipping a switch at 4am expecting lights/bilge/navigat...

fly fishermen
I saw several folks in a previous thread who mentioned fly fishing as a hobby. Do ya'll mainly target trout or do you fish bass, perch, reds ect? I bought my first 9' 5wt last year and really started using it this spring on a 10 acre lake for bass and bream and Perch. I've heard there are some good ...
