My 8yo son has found 2 arrow heads in the last month. One he found yesterday behind our house in the city limits of Hattiesburg. It was perfectly shaped, the other one he found was broken. He's pumped about them. He's taking them to school today to show them to his class.

Got a 2yo this morning. 2 came in and the big one saw me and I tried to put the quick draw on him but at 10 yards that didnt work, but his running buddy just stood there. Big Mistake.

I just bought my son a youth Tristar 20 guage auto at Academy. Camo stock and forearm with 3 chokes for $380 plus tax. Shot a box of shells so far and it seems to be a pretty good gun for the price.

I have 148 acres in Attala county just out of Durant that I would like to lease or have a couple of people hunt with me and do bow only. Lots of deer and have some pics of some decent bucks, and some turkeys. 3 small food plots established.

Saw a guy pull up at Gander Mtn. and take his cooler out of the back of his truck and put it in his back seat. Dont want a cooler that I have to worry about someone stealing.

There used to be a small sporting goods store in downtown Tylertown, dont know if its still there or not, but he gave me a great deal on a berreta teknys several years ago.

Just got back from down there this weekend. Stayed at the Roosevelt and ate supper at Besh's rest. August and breakfast at Brennans, both were awesome.

If it gets wet this winter the prices will jump big time. Can't imagine cutting it for 5 or 6 dollars ton. You are giving it away. Last winter we got 23 a ton for pine pulp wood. May not get that high again but it will at least double from what it is right now.

Kiva Dunes and Peninsula are right out of gulf shores and are probably 2 of the best courses down there. And they are only about 2 miles from each other. Play one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

Get a couple of doughnuts and put a slice of velveeta cheese on each one, then sprinkle some sugar on top and put in microwave for about 15 seconds. Thats some good eats.

Get a 35 whelen in the encore pro hunter and be done with it. Its the only gun I use anymore, from beginning of rifle season till the end of primitive weapon. I'm not that great of a shot and Ive killed 2 does at 275 yards with it.

Just got a streamlight Super Tac. Runs off 2 lithium batteries, brightest flashlight I've ever seen. Could shine far end of grasspatch which was 250yds. $68 bucks

There is actually a guy in Moselle,MS just out of Hattiesburg that sells everything you need. He has quality stuff. Dont go cheap, cheap stuff will break and you or your kids will get hurt.

I have the 35 in the pro hunter and shoot the 200 grain remingtons. It will shoot half inch groups at hundred yards. Killed two does at 250 yards. Its the only gun I take in the woods anymore.

The mechanic put it on today and it seems to work fine. I guess time will tell. So thanks swampman.
