Re: sunflower question

Yeah. Keeps my corn happy. Those calculations were examples of how to deal with the liquid side of things.

sunflower question

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/28/2yzunena.jpg These are some calculations I ran a few years back. Agrotain is the stabilizer we use when conditions are less than ideal. You have to figure out what measurement(g,lbs, etc) then what % is whatever component your looking at. Then divide the desired ra...

Re: sunflower question

On second thought lets revisit the fertilizer 1g 32N (liquid) = 3.54 units N 3.54lbs 46-0-0 = 1.63 units N 7.7lbs 46-0-0 = 1g 32N Dry fertilizer nomenclature is percent of 100lbs, so each of the numbers is just the percent of product present. 50lbs 13-13-13 6.5lbs Nitrogen 6.5lbs Phosphorus 6.5lbs P...

Re: sunflower question

You could do a soul test, but I only use nitrogen. Urea is your best source of nitrogen I believe. I may have this wrong, but I think 1 gallon of N-sol (liquid nitrogen) is equal to 3.54 units. That is the same as 3.54 pounds of urea. I usually go with 20-25 gallons per acre. I usually do my "...

Re: Are you kidding me

There's a several page article about gay athletes and how special and cool it is in People, one of the most self absorbed "hey look at me not living in reality, but I'm just like you piles of garbage out there.

Re: Summer work shirts

Sam's sells a nat gear Columbia style shirt. It's super thin and airy. I imagine a nail or snag would have you in a custom redneck rig pretty quick.

Trip probably has one of every color...nat gear or your queer.

I find the cheapest button up short sleeves as I can for work.

Re: No wonder the US is headed for trouble.

I had a lengthy discussion about No Child Left Behind and Common Core yesterday afternoon with someone in the know on these topics. It just sounds hopeless for these kids and in turn the future of this country. I can't decide whose fault it is...parents or federal govt. I'm going with 100% blame on...

Re: Tryin my hand

I planted mine the same way you did yours. A few of them are up now. I'm going to leave them alone for a week or so before I go look at em again. I'm more excited about the forage beans than my production beans. http://s26.postimg.org/q12lx733t/image.jpg When I was checking the beans yesterday I was...
