Re: 105 on my porch...
Been at Parchman a few days, it is beyond hot. No breeze, straight HEAT! It is brutal, even for those used to the Delta heat.

Poo poo faces are for the "I look like a duck hunter so therefore I am"
Not entirely true sir. While it does apply to many, it does not apply to all.

Re: Face paint or not?
I guess I'm having a hard time figuring out what the big deal is? Besides the obvious occasional douchebag wearing it around town like previously stated. Paint is just another tool used to fool game, some use it, some don't. I use it while bow hunting and duck hunting simply because I hate the feel ...

Re: hunting in buckbrush
All aformentioned information is pretty accurate. I hunt a large brake at my deer camp that is about 1.5 miles long and shaped like a V with the widest part dead ending at Steele Bayou to the north. There are every size, shape, and make of buckbrush holes throughout. Here is what I have learned in m...

Re: Benelli Problems
All you need to do is send it to Benelli, your ejector arm is not set/caliberated correctly. I'll bet a million dollars the shells that do not eject properly have a slight ding on the bottom cusp of the brass. Some slip through quality control inspection. The inertia system is very exact, any deviat...

Re: Question on Vicksburg Duck hunting
I'm a third generation member at Buckhorn, north of Vicksburg and about a mile from Eagle Lake and Tara (as a crow flys) and have always killed a lot of ducks in my brake, and since it takes an act of congress to get in, I don't mind disclosing that tidbit. It used to be better, but I still have a l...
