Re: Custom ATV Racks/Boxes
For extra weight you can add a set of coil over shocks to basket and rear hitch to help. I saw one the other day that looked like it had cultivator springs on it to keep it from sagging with a hog dog box on rear rack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Saw those back in the late 90s and its like t...

Re: UPS question regarding the declared value of package
To be honest, from an insurance perspective, your package is their responsibility when you are paying them a fee for them to transport it. Exactly. Just like when I contract a trucking company to haul a $625k oilfield package from LA to ND. The trucking company has to have enough insurance to cover...

Re: Question about scrapping cars etc
Speaking in general here as I've sold vehicles for scrap here. I had to remove all the tires and fuel tank before the scrap yard would take it. I didn't have to show proof of ownership or title. I recently sold an old square baler for scrap and had to remove the tires off it before the scrap yard wo...

Lime is caustic and will burn skin with long contact. Many people do use lime to control odor. There are other options listed below. Bleach and water Vinegar and Baking Soda Diatomacious Earth SweetPDZ (found at tractor supply or local co-op as a horse stall odor controller) Picking up the bulk woul...

Re: Pecan trees (delta)?
Varies by land owner. Some want the pecans and some don't want them at all. If the ground is clean, invest in one of the push type pickers. Makes quick work to get them off the ground. You simply clean the leaves and twigs. Then there is the basket type picker that comes in handy if the grass is som...

Re: Vacuum Sealer
If you upped that price to say $600, you could get you a vacuum chamber which will yield better results than the other style vacuum sealers. ARY VacMaster is a good one, but will run you in the $500+ to around mid-$600 depending how much you shop around.

Re: Ask DS - Best Electric Golf Cart
Find you a Yamaha G22-G29 GAS golf cart. Never have to worry about changing batteries every 3-5 years and never have to worry about charging or being out and batteries draining. If you plan to lift and use the cart offroad, I would certainly look at a gas. If you do get a gas and want to modify it, ...

Weed and Feed Lawn
With the monsoon weather we had the last couple months, my yard is fugly. I have some leftover bags of Scotts Southern Weed and Feed back from the Spring. Can I spread these now this close to cold weather or should I suck it up and wait until the Spring? Lawn is a mixture Bahaiagrass, St. Augustine,...

Agree with the others on copying factory ammo. It is nearly impossible for the simple fact as you don't know what powder or powder blend they are using. Sure there may be internet posts out there, but who has a machine to positively identify the powder? As stang67 mentioned, bullet seated nearly at ...

Re: Ask DS. Gun blue kits
I tried blueing a 410 bolt action years ago with no success. I would strongly consider having a gunsmith do it. Now, if your not looking for blueing, take a look at cerakote. Cerakote is a tough coating and not that expensive to get done. I will say this to those who want to touch up blueing. There ...

OK, so these are the particulars I've found. You finance the full amount with the finance company. In my buddies case, $27,700.00, which was the cost of the full solar install. This $27,700 is financed for 18 months same as cash. LA tax credit is $12,500 and Federal tax credit is 30% of your income ...
