Re: Internet Jobs boards?
For one stop shopping try indeed.com. It will search most all of the other online job search sites and keep you from having to do so much work. FWIW I was laid off in May. I sent resumes cold to all the players in my industry but all the call backs I recieved were from internet apps. Several were ca...

Re: Jobs???
Good luck on your search. I'm in Oxford. Was laid off in May. (Completely blindsided BTW) Had one solid lead and interview mid July. I got that job and just started last week. Problem is I now have to commute to Memphis every day. Had a coworker in Tupelo get laid off at the same time. He has his fi...

Re: Hydroturf Questions
Count me as another satisfied hydro-turf customer. By it direct from the company. Go to http://hydroturf.com . Click on buy it by the sheet. Many people including myself have used the "B" grade sheets to save money. They are a flat medium grey that blends well. I don't see "B" gr...

Re: Swine Flu
Wife called me yesterday. School had called daughter was running 101* fever. We were thinking the worse. I just started a new job after being laid off four month. Don't need to be sick. Wife called the nurse at ped's office. She told her lots of kids in Lafayette county were testing positive for H1N...

Re: Garmin or Tomtom and why?
I know nothing about the in-car units. I will say that in my personal experience Garmin's customer service is top notch. They replaced a GPS for me that was well out of warranty. The issue was clearly not one of wear and tear or abuse and Garmin stepped up for me. My latest Garmin handheld has been ...

Re: Best Load for SBE I
Federal #3 shot from an extended Light MOD choke. 3" or 3.5" take your pick. I've patterned a bunch of loads through my SBE. Federal's are the most consistent for me and 3's and 1's pattern better than 2's. Pick up a Briley or Trulock extended LMOD choke. If you're sticking with factory ch...

Re: Neo Mats
I put hydro-turf "B" grade in my boat. The sheets won't be exactly square so you may need to buy more sheets than you think. Clean the surface of the boat really well. Scuff with a scotchbrite pad and then wipe down with denatured alcohol right before you glue down the sheets. Hardest part...

Re: Drake Boat Pants
I've used waist high for the last two seasons. Heavy chest waders just hang in the garage. I bought some cheap Itasca ones not the spendy Drakes. The Itasca ones actually hit about mid chest so you only give up a couple inches of depth to chest waders. While I missed having the storage pocket, I rea...

Re: improving shooting technique
If he's truly left eye dominant have him shoot left handed. I made the switch in my early 20's. Best thing I ever did as far as wingshooting goes. First season was frustrating but after that I naturally pick up and shoulder a shotgun left handed.

... they even function in my SBE Tell me more. My HD shotgun is my trusty SBE with 9 round extension. I may have to pick some of these up. Any place in NOMS carry these? Here's what I found with a quick flex of my google-fu. J Aguila 12 gauge mini-shell buckshot. This ammo is a dual load buckshot w...

Re: motor oil?
I don't use mine as much during the off season, but when we do it's usually slow going riding with my daughter. I can't help but think that all the heat of idling around is rough on the oil. I change mine twice a year. Begining of summer and again right before hunting season gets rolling. I also adj...

Re: Cap and Trade
It passed the house of rep's only. Senate is not scheduled to take it up until the fall. It will be much harder for it to make it out of the senate. Hopefully it will get some much needed bad press between now and then. I'm happy to say Childers voted no.
