LD50 is the "dose" or amount of something that will be lethal to 50% of a given population. It's saying that <5 mg/kg has the highest toxicity and it ranges down to >15000 mg/kg is practically non toxic. Hope that helped. Dang...and here I thought it only took one pellet to be lethal....

I don't hunt...I bought a gun, waders, calls, a 4x4 truck, and dog so I could look cool...Double R 2 talked me into adding a few stickers to my back window right after he and gator took me hunting in Crossgates at Gulfcoasts hole last June...then I backed into my own mailbox three times in a week......

Re: Ole Miss Law

Rice, dont take this the wrong way, and I am sure there are those on here who disagree, but unless you have worked as a runner in a firm, or have a parent that is an attorney, you should not apply and go to law school. Do yourself a favor and work for a firm before attending law school, or even tak...

Re: Ole Miss Law

Law school is hard, and so is being an attorney.... But, there are no shortcuts in anything and it is all tough now I usually work 10 hour days and then work a couple of more hours at home after the kids go to sleep.... I don't imagine there are any really easy job markets though.... That being said...

Re: Jeff Foiles in a $hit ton of trouble

Friend of mine brought up a good point on this today: The job of a Federal Warden is to protect wildlife and prosecute those who break the rules. This investigation has been going on for a great amount of time, and they (more than likely knew what he was doing) for that time. At what point do they ...

Re: Jeff Foiles in a $hit ton of trouble

Never trust anybody who puts face paint on their dog..... The boy is in a lot of trouble...the "everybody else is doing it..." defense doesn't float well in court. I've been hearing about this for three years, and now it finally comes to fruition. This stuff could go on and on for a while....

Re: Sportsman's Warehouse

Saw it in the paper also. I feel bad for the dude that is trying to open the hunting store in Chuck's Marine, but his first mistake was putting it in that chithole of a boat dealer. I went in right before season to get a few things and I was told they could order it if I needed and the three pieces...

Re: Tony Lama boots

Pete, I'm gonna go on a tangent so excuse me...but,Tony Llama makes a decent mass produced boot I guess...as does Lucchesse (the old boots were great, and the true custom Lucchesse's now are good, but most of them are mass produced anymore...don't get me wrong I have a pair)...but if you want a real...
