I think its just really early still and this cold weather isnt helping much either. I took my nephew this weekend and the turkeys only gobbled on the roost. got a thompson centerfire 50 cal and before i bought it i hunted with my dads old frontier style 50 cal he built from a kit he bought it was fun to shoot but definately the old style of muzzleloading...not the most dependable thing either but thats a different story

Looking to film some turkey hunts this year and plan on trying to set up some hunts out of state possibly in Nebraska and Texas any of you guys got any advice on finding a good outfitter or possibly public land?
