A "natural" brake is a depression in the earth or an old creek/river bed that hold water during the wet season. Usually has trees in it that can thrive in standing water. I would guess that people say hunt them because they are usually very old and ducks have been using them for years.. w...

Yes, same standards should be applied when hunting. Cast refusals should be handled same way. If I know exactly where the bird is, then I attack it just as aggressively as a hunt test.
