If it were mine I'd plug 'em. I've never had an issue with plugs. The oe tires on my Prairie were always picking up thorns. They each have 3-4 plugs in them. Still holding air.

Re: paying off debt
Having just been laid off I can tell you first hand how nice it is not to have mountains of debt piled up. House and a car we just bought in January is all we have. We only had 8yrs left on the house. 15 yr loan. That's being refi'd into a 30 @ over a point less as I type. Nice to know that we can l...

Re: buying a new grill
I did this last year when my last expensive stainless grill rusted out. Parts to repair it were more than a new one. I looked at everything and came to the conclusion that anything under $500 was going to have rust issues sooner or later. I went with a Char-Broil because the parts were cheap (relat...

Mortgage guys. I need to refi to a 30 fixed asap.
Not to belabor the point but I was downsized yesterday. I have 6 months to find a new job. Meanwhile the only debt we have is my wifes car and our house. We have 8 years left on a 15 yr fixed. I need to be out from under that just in case. With a 30yr fixed we can live well on my wifes job alone. An...

Re: ? Anyone installed landscape lights?
Dude...you're doing it wrong. Way too much math involved with your method. They got these new fangled lights that harness the power of the sun!
Seriously, open box, remove plastic, stick in ground. Just pull 'em up when it's time to mow.

BOLO SPOTS
Bolo spots. Labs with white hairs on their chest or feet are thought to be decendents of Banchory Bolo. Some people think this is a good thing. Here's a good link with a lot more detail. My black lab has couple dozen white hairs on her chest and white hairs in her feet. I had the option of two femal...

Re: ? about Yamaha outboard(50hp)
I have a the Yamaha 50 on a 1650 Express. I run a 10x14 semi cleaver most of the time and have a 10x13 with round ears for duck hunting. Both stainless. Both have a little cup in them. 5500-5800 sounds about right. I'm thinking 5600 but don't have a manual in front of me. I'd say 13/14 shound work f...

Re: Decoy Paint....been asked before but asking again
I've used Parker's and Herter's/Cabela's. I prefer Parker's. Parker's seems to be a thicker paint and stays put better. I have some homemade foam decoys painted with Parker's and they've held up for 3-4 seasons. I have some old G&H touched up with Parker's 3-4 years ago and they still look good....

Re: Whats a good electric razor.
If your gonna go electric use a Braun. I agree a blade is a heluva lot more satisfying but I can't shave against the w/o getting ingrown hairs. Shaving with the grain leaves me with instant stubble. I picked up a Braun series 3 at Christmas. I hate the pivotting head and didn't see the point of payi...

Re: Looking at a lease southern Tunica county wants some input.
For all those that sent PM's thanks. It's a done deal now. Checked out all the holes this weekend. All still holding water. All still holding a good many birds. Lots of birds in the area as well. Always a crap shoot, anywhere you go. Area is good. Holes look good. At least this way if I'm not seeing...

Re: Better Chainsaw
I have a Husky 340 I bought 5 years ago when I bought my current house. I only run it 6-8 times a year but when I need it, it's there. For my needs it's been great. When I was looking it was between Husky and Stihl. For the money and roughly same bar length Husky had more displacement than Stihl. Th...
