It's around 30 acres now and "several hundred" feet deep in places. They drilled relief wells around the area and are flaring the gas.
Most of the people in the Bayou Corne community have evacuated. Several nice homes just sitting there empty. Some for a year now......

I just left from this site a couple of hours ago.It's a serious situation down there.

We use boxes now but still have some old barrels we check too. Seems like somebody posted some pics of boxes on here last year. Caught 8 blues yesterday.....
