Re: North MS Turkey Report ???
Had four coming to me, across a field, yesterday... and then they turned around and went back. Don't know if the wind across that field made them change their mind or if they saw something they didn't like but I know where I'll be setting up shop this afternoon. Going to try to get my wife to ...

Went yesterday afternoon and birds were everywhere, none responding to calls though... except for one. He was a 26 pounder with a 10.5" beard, 1-1/8" & 1-1/4" spurs. 8) Should have gotten him officially measured, could be a state record on weight. http://www.mdwfp.com/a...

Several veteran hunters have said they have resorted to hunting the pm once they find birds and they leave the hens . Some areas that have been hot for the last 10 years are now silent. Must be nice. They have ...

Re: Ole Miss NOA
Where are all the Rebel fans that used to be on here attacking anyone who questioned Freeze's integrity? The ones who said they knew Freeze was such a great Christian man. I got blasted by some of y'all. That joker makes Billy Brewer and Jackie Sherrill look like saints. Using the pulpit as a smoke...

My Mossberg 935 likes #5 Winchester XRs, 3.5". They die in their tracks out to 40 yards. Haven't shot one further than that yet.
My Remington 870 likes #5 Remington Nitro Express, 3". Patterns decent out to 40 but I haven't killed one past 30 with it.

Are wood ducks legal right now? Have 18-20 in a creek, next to my stand, and wouldn't mind having one or two in the freezer.
