Balance bike?
So I remember first learning what a balance bike was on here many months ago. I still haven't really put my hands on one but thinking about getting one for my 2 yo and 4 yo (who is very uncoordinated). However my question becomes we live about a mile from concrete. Our driveway is gravel and we have...

Re: COLD weather?
It's been a funny weather year but I'll tell you I'll take it! Just completed the first split in LA today and we flat out have birds. Only hard part this last week has been running white out fog in the river under radar the last week. It's been fun even with "stale" ducks the last 10 or so...

Thanks Pete I'll look into it the current reed was made from a 50's comb and it took a LOT of work to make it just right.

Re: Recommendations on Spec Calls
They are easy to tune occasionally you will need to get a thicker reed to get the right tone but I've been using one I built for about 20 years it's closed a lot of eyes over the years. However it's finally starting to loose it's pitch and having trouble with it sounding more like an alarm call at t...

Jack that is awesome that you got another! If you ever want to come run dogs and shoot the bull I'm out in Folsom and have about 40 acres to train on with just about everything you could want to train with.

Re: Recommendations on Spec Calls
I still have yet to find a call that sounds as good as a retuned PS Olt Fox/Coyote call. However those are next to impossible to find these days so I would suggest either a chien caillie or the Riceland. Both of them sound outstanding and are hard to beat wouldn't even consider anything else.

Re: Hypothetical Situation
Would depend for me on what the guy did to get into trouble and what he is doing now. Also how long he has been clean and out of jail. I would be hesitant within a few years of him getting out of jail as if he relapsed i would have concerns my four wheeler and other items of value at the club would ...
