I know several other members of the club are on here... any news on when dues are going to be sent out? This seems odd this year... guess they are still deciding what to charge... or I'm being told the "passive" way that I am no longer a member! HA! :D They must know you out in California...

found out a few things today... 1) as to the issue with the restaurant... they jumped the gun and tore it down and now there is a different set of codes that are driving the rebuild cost up 2) as to dues... the president instructed board members not to comment on the club to any members... I load my own 300 WSM... 72.5 gr. IMR 4035 and 150 gr. Sierra SPBT is the load that we found works the best... we are shooting Browning A-Bolt II Of course you usually only get 1 shot per brass, but it's a heck of a load! I hope you IMR 4350? Don't think you or the gun could survive the 4035! Slow ...

I load my own 300 WSM...

72.5 gr. IMR 4035 and 150 gr. Sierra SPBT is the load that we found works the best... we are shooting Browning A-Bolt II

Of course you usually only get 1 shot per brass, but it's a heck of a load!

I was there 4 weeks or so ago... fished with the best guide that I have ever met... he was just a good ole boy and could put you on some fish... we were fishing 45 miles out for red snapper... maxed out and had a blast. Yep...Levee Break was owned by Tom Eubank and we used to go every Wed. and Sat. Tom went back to school and, if I'm not mistaken, he sold a lot of his equipment to John Ingram. Man, I don't know how many cases of Fiocchi White Rhino's we bought from Dada Lewis! :D
