Re: Safe Room
I do not have one but have seen the one mentioned designed to fit in your garage slab. There is a member on here that had one installed post construction. It looks like like a cross between a duck pit and a grease pit from an oil change place. low profile and its narrow enough that it fits between ...

Re: Barrel length for all purpose
One of my favorite guns has a 22" barrel. In the hands of better shooter maybe there would be a difference, but I can't tell any significant difference between how it shoots and any of my other guns with longer barrels. It is, however, an ear bleeder if you aren't standing directly behind it! ...

Re: Need some knowledge on st. augustine grass
I have no clue. I have just been buying a little at a time of whatever the co-op has available each spring. It's doing well in full sun though so it must be a different one.

Re: Need some knowledge on st. augustine grass
I've been trying to grow some myself but don't have any prior experience with it. What can you spray it with to treat broad leaf weeds?

Been thinking...
I encounter a man regularly who can be a real pill to deal with. He is loud and boisterous. He is demanding and overbearing. Arrogant, even. He knows everything, and I know nothing. He is always right, and I’m always wrong. At times it seems that he expects people to feel honored that he has graced ...

Re: Sod guys
Looks to me like that brown out is from TOO much water. And I wouldn't be putting any fertilizer on it now unless it was a very low nitrogen lawn starter fertilizer. Priority one with new sod is a healthy root system. It looks like you have enough live grass in those pieces that it might fill in but...

Re: Pocket Pistol
Tried my hand at a "fluff and buff" and it seems to have done the trick. I put several round each of hollow points, critical defense, and ball ammo through it with no problems. It'll cycle them as fast as I can pull that long heavy trigger. Problem solved hopefully.

Re: Pocket Pistol
It happened with both the pinky extension and a flush magazine. I think it is largely an ammo problem. The hollow points were hanging up even when cycle manually. Picked up some ball ammo and some Hornady critical defense yesterday and they both manually cycle fine. Plan to put a few rounds through ...
