Go north on 161 to the 'T', take a right and there is a playground on the left about a half a mile down. It's a good break from the beach/pool. There is also a pier on the bay at the back of the park.

Am I the only one that started with a single shot, hammer [editor changed this], 20 guage that left a bruise from my elbow to neck after opening weekend of dove season? I think I survived and learned to kill on a first shot - but I would probably flinch if I had to shoot that gun now.

Anybody can get sued by anyone at any time. The person driving a truck was apparently at fault - he was just driving your company truck. If your company has good records/books/employee handbook/etc. on who can and cannot drive the vehicle, you will eventually get out of a lawsuit if filed. However, ...

We're getting hosed on the unemployment as well. We were 'nice' and didn't contest when we let a couple people go, they filed and we're getting hit with thousand$ in unemployment taxes/fees.

On the contract, be sure to scratch through the burried sentences that "This lease also any and all contiguous land . . ." and the "Lessor hereby warrants and agrees to defend title . . . ." You don't want to agree to either of those.

Wingman - So, we as law abiding hunters are supposed to be aware of not-so-public (to me anyway) Public Notices that are not reduced to/enacted through a state statute? Where are these Public Notices noticed? And what else is out there? Thanks.

If/when you decide to pay it - split or by yourself - offer 50% of what is owed and see what happens. I bet they will take less than the full amount - may end up being 80% but no harm in trying.
