Re: Initiative 42

In #5 you say,* if it passes a judge will tell the legislature to follow their own laws.* How do you know that? That's not on the ballot I voted against today. It just said "adequate and efficient". It never mentioned MAEP one time. Seems to me like the intentionally vague language would ...

Big Buck Photo Contest

Our company is having an Instagram & Facebook contest to find a buck to use on a t-shirt design next fall. All you have to do is tag or mention us when you post your kill photos on Instagram or FB. It can also be a picture of a mounted deer you killed in years past. Does not have to be the bigge...

Re: Initiative 42

I'm voting against 42. Don't know where the numbers came from but there was a guest on supertalk who said the top ten performing high schools in the state spend on average $2,000 less per student per year than the bottom ten performing schools. Read that again and let it sink in. Throwing more money...

Re: my thoughts on Saturday night

Only reason I can think of that Saban wanted Kiffin was because he is a good recruiter. He can recruit top rated quarterbacks. Someone on ESPN had some stats on Alabama vs top 15 ranked teams the last three years and it was pretty bad. They have given up a ton of points to the up tempo offenses. Loo...

Re: September 23, 2015

Some believe that this is also supposed to be the month of biblical shemitah which means there will be some sort of major event. Seven years ago this month was the wall street mortgage collapse. Seven years before that was 9/11.

Re: WHAT A CROCK

Why would Rikard only rescind his opinion if the MDWF&P cannot make it a sanctuary? He claimed he did not know about the plans for the sanctuary when he gave the opinion. That makes no sense. Why not rescind it now? Sounds like Rikard is telling folks what they want to hear.

Re: WHAT A CROCK

The weir will maintain higher more consistent water levels. Will it hold more water on the SOS's property?

The SOS said the refuge will help the deer and turkey hunting. How much of the refuge is dry land?

Re: Thoughts On American Dentist That Killed Famous Lion?

The guides and the dentist are all examples of the ugly, unethical side of big game trophy hunting. I hate that this specific lion was killed and I hate that it was an American hunter that did it. Bad deal all around.

Re: Tunsil

Did not know until all of this came out that Tunsil's brother, who had zero D1 scholarship offers, was given a football scholarship and is on the team. Not against NCAA rules and Ole Miss is not the first school to do this but I was a little surprised that Freeze did it.

Re: A win for religious freedoms?

How do churches react when openly gay people start bringing their partner to church? Especially small to medium churches in small town Mississippi. We are gonna see some churches split up over this issue. Churches *should* react the same way they do when anyone else who sins on a daily basis (ie ev...
