Re: T. Logan Russell on Podcast
I am sorry GH22's explanation had to go to the editing room floor. It was some crazy stuff that included oils, planting flags, and he explained "The move". I will make sure when we start the after hours podcast he goes through it again. Maybe I can get ol' TLR on the podcast one day. Anyb...

Are The Ducks Being Short-Stopped Up North?
Many duck hunters, as stated in a Ducksouth thread from 2001, have a held belief that there is a conspiracy from the North to keep ducks from coming down south. They feel that ducks are being basically hand fed in refuges and on private land so much that the ducks never need to leave and migrate sou...

Social Hunter
There is no doubt that social media has completely changed the way everyone in our world communicates. It gives an outlet for people to express what they believe in and are passionate about. As a hunter and outdoorsmen, I particularly like this because I can communicate with people all over the worl...

Podcast With Ramsey Russell
This thing is "off the chain" as my cook at Mossy Island Outfitters would say. Guys, I promise this thing is unreal how much information it contains. I named it "Information Overload" for good reason. If you have not listened to a podcast, this is the one to start out with.

DOES SHOOTING HENS MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Written By: Hannah Riggs A pretty lengthy Ducksouth thread popped up in 2001 with many different users giving their views of shooting hens. Many guys felt that shooting hens was overall not a good idea. They believed it could lead to a decrease in duck populations and therefore would prefer to shoot...

Re: Ducksouth Dove Hunt Postponed Until October 8
Guys the bird numbers are low right now and I would hate for you guys to drive all the way for a few. I think we hurt the local birds pretty bad last weekend. I think the best option is to put this hunt off until the first of October and get some migratory birds in. Sorry for the inconvenience.

September Memories By: Josh Webb
Each year the dog days of summer creep by like molasses in a cold jar. It is perhaps the toughest time of year to be an outdoorsman or woman because you just can’t do anything that will fill the void of not being able to hunt. However as the days of June, July and August come to an end, there is one...
