Mine shoots an Encore with a 243 barrel, bullets are barnes triple shocks loaded by federal, never lost a deer or really had to look too hard after the shot, most are hammer dead where the stood at the shot. I have taken my deer meat to the Buck Shop in Pocohontas, he will grind it and get it to Tony's (I think thats were he takes it) to be made into tamales and can or at least could get less than 20 lbs. made. 20 lbs of deer meat makes A LOT of tamales.

I've shot it several times, all I've ever used is improved cylinder, good luck and have fun, the Duck Flush is a blast!!

That area is loaded with em, a couple of years ago, weekend before turkey season opened, I drove from Ridgeland to I-20 going to listen for turkeys in Warren County, saw 37, saw about 10 on my way home, I'm surprised somebody hasn't had one come through the windshield (may have happened)
