Re: Louisiana needs help....
Our church is heading down this weekend with work crews and supplies. There are a lot of really good folks in a JAM over there, and no attention from the "national media."

TriTonics (Pro series tube), followed closely by Dogtra, followed by nothing else. A half-mile range will be fine for most folks.

Re: Homing pigeons-where to buy?
It is in Mobile, AL, (west side of Mobile). You go on Airport Road to where it intersects with Schillenger Road. Turn north on Schillenger, and the Schillenger Road Flea Market will be on your left in about .2 mile. You can't miss it. The crazy guy that sells birds and such is in the very back, righ...

Re: Sporting Clays (shell question)
I have shot a gazillion of the Gun Clubs (and similar "bargain" shells) through a 391, and never had any issues. I think you would be fine, unless you are shooting Benelli/Inertial guns with 3.5" chambers. In that case, bite the bullet and get Winchester AA Super Sporting or Super Han...

Re: Mississippi Gulf Coast
The Port O' Call closed last month. Another place off the lunch rotation.... The Biloxi Schooner closed as well, but it had cratered long ago as far as a quality eating experience. Hit "Burger Burger" for "this is the crazy place the locals eat."

Mary Mahoney's- As close to "old New Orleans" cooking as you will find outside NOLA, don't miss the gumbo Bozo's Seafood on Ingalls Ave in Pascagoula- An actual seafood market. As "local dive unchanged from the beginning of time with awesome poboys" as you will ever find. A 1 out...
