Re: Need a Large Diameter Culvert
We've started using a 1" wall fiberglass pipe on the 6' and larger diameter structures. Its about 30% less $$ than steel, lighter, and comes with a beveled end for joining sticks. Its also supposed to have a greater flow coefficient than corrugated or steel. Sounds like an old 8' rail car might...

Re: Boy Scouts
I'm pretty sure the scoutmaster in Greenville is a female. My son wants to participate because several of his buddies are but I refuse. If I could renounce my rank of eagle scout I would in a heartbeat.

Re: Another **** ADS about a UTV thread
FYI we just bought a 2016 Honda 1000 from Greenville Motor sports for $10,900 (no pwr steering). They had two left at the closeout price. If you want a lift and big tires and all that crap it probably isn't the machine for you. If you want a machine that will do everything you need to do in the Delt...

Re: Purple triangular boxes in trees
Just got an email that it has been found in Monticello Arkansas which is 2-3 counties east of where it was last year and now just one county away from MS.

Re: Purple triangular boxes in trees
There is an entomologist with the US Forest Service in Jackson heading that up. I don't remember her name. The Emerald Ash Borer has not been officially documented in Mississippi. It has been documented in Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Alabama so I'm betting its probably already here we just h...

Re: Caribbean vacations
We went to Runaway Bay Jamaica for a week this past January and stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe. No kids allowed on that side of the resort. Only downside was that it was an hour or so drive from the airport, but we hired a private van to shuttle us and it was worth every penny. Very, very nice ...

What are you trying to do? I deal with that kind of stuff every day. Pete Twiner in belzoni will walk a track hoe in 4 ft water as long as the bottom is solid.

Re: tankless water heates
My dad is a builder in the Jackson area and he pretty much only uses tankless water heaters now. I'm not sure which brand electric he uses, but they work great.

Re: Truck talk
I drive a 14 F-150 and love it, along with the 11' model I had prior. That said if I had to buy new today it would probably be a tundra. We have two of the new fords in our company fleet and I just don't like them. We have an 09' tundra pushing 300k rolling strong along with a 15' tundra with 100+k ...
