A well pump has only two pipe openings - an inlet and and outlet - if it's too much trouble (which it really shouldn't be) to unscrew and remove the pipes, then cut 'em off with a sawz-all saw or hack saw. Screw in new fittings to your new pump, then connect to your old pipes, using dresser coupling...
