Given the past couple of spotty years in the Delta, this is the best I have seen in four years. The ducks are coming in consistently so far. Lack of water here and cold fronts blowing in through the North are putting them in our back door. You better enjoy it while it lasts.

We killed a Suzie with the disease the first weekend. As much as I hated to disgard the duck, I personally do not feel comfortable eating one that looks to be unhealthy. To each his own.

Ole Eli Delta can cook up some mean spoonies.
