Re: Mississippi Politics - Discussion
Legalize weed, make profits, everyone gets a tax return. Fixes education deficit. Thats the same thing they said about gambling in 1992-1993 in Vicksburg, guess what, it didn't work. Politicians will find ways to scratch their friends backs and keep blowing money. Look at Colorado. If you legalized...

Re: Mississippi Politics - Discussion
You should take a deeper look into Common Core. It may "just" be a standard, but when it dictates sub-par curriculum its a bad standard that will lead to a dumber general population courtesy of uncle Obama. Imagine that politicians pushing for a poorly educated voting population...

Re: Ceiling Height?
I think the real cost is not materials but heating and cooling that extra space over the life of the home.

Jimmy's butcher shop on Hwy 51 in Ridgeland. I found it was much cheaper here than at Little Willies at the Spillway.

Re: planning a red fishing trip and need some help
One think to keep in mind. I did not enjoy catching reds as much as I did catching specks. Catching a nice red is about like throwing a car tire in the water and trying to reel it in. Those jokers are strong and they will wear you out. Getting on a good speck bite is the most fun I have ever had fi...

Re: Zero - turn Mower
I noticed on the kubota site yesterday they had a 48" with a $5,000 to $5500 price tag. Seems inline with some other brands. But yeah most of the ones I see being used are the large 60" w/ diesel.

Re: UPS question regarding the declared value of package
To be honest, from an insurance perspective, your package is their responsibility when you are paying them a fee for them to transport it. Exactly. Just like when I contract a trucking company to haul a $625k oilfield package from LA to ND. The trucking company has to have enough insurance to cover...

Re: UPS question regarding the declared value of package
They will take responsibility up to the value that you declared the package for. Get over it and pay the extra or YOU take on the risk of having to pay. There is no such thing as a free meal. Ok, but am I allowed to do that will my line of work as an attorney? You come to me and pay me for somethin...
