Re: Pods on a Wareagle question......

i'd stick the motor on there first and see if you need the pods. also move as much weight forward as you can. batteries, gas tanks etc. i ran a 15/42 with a 25hp go devil and was fine weight wise. i'd imagine the 2 motors are similar weight wise.

Re: 25 horse boat motor question

you will need a compression gauge to check it. some auto parts stores may have a loaner one. another thing to check is the woodruff key that indexes the flywheel to the crankshaft. had one break on an old 25-35 hp johnson and it would do the same thing.

Re: 25 horse boat motor question

probably low compression. caused by worn out rings, scored piston or scored cylinder wall. have you checked to see if the plugs are firing? tested compression?

Re: 4-wheeler ?

search around on 4wheeler forums such as highlifter and find somebody parting one out and buy the wiring harness and swap them out. thats what i would do. those old 300's are the best 4wheelers ever made imo.

Re: Starting a business

if you are wanting an attachment for clearing shooting lanes and food plots a grapple rake will be alot more productive than a brush cutter. since with the rake you can pull up most of the stumps etc which will make discing etc much easier for the land owner.

Re: Building a bridge

cheapest way would be to find a gas station that is replacing its tanks and buy one of the old tanks. most of them were steel. cut the ends out of the tank and roll it into the creek then cover it with dirt.

Re: License plate question???

should be able to just go to the hinds county tag office and do it all there. may also be able to sign an affidavit saying that it hasn't been on the road since you bought it and get out of paying the back taxes on it. i did that with a pickup once that hadn't been registered in years but that was s...

Re: anybody collect old decoys?

looks like your basic carry lite paper mache decoy from the 40s or later. they are fairly common. i see them sell anywhere from 5-$20 on ebay plus shipping. so 25 isn't great but not too bad once you consider what you'd spend with shipping and all from an auction site
