Re: poachers, spotlighters, and land destroyers

Get your bulldozer guy to push out one of the mud holes they like till it's about 5-6' deep then let it fill back in with water. Come back the next morning after those boys have been in there and viola! You got yourself a truck with tags and all. Had a dozer operator tell me he did that exact thing...

Re: Help me with some waders guys

Def go with the light mags before the supermags if you go with Cabelas. I've got the lights, and going on my 2nd year with no leaks, and 3.5 mm neoprene is PLENTY thick for warmth. 5 mm will just make you sweat IMO.

Re: double bands - $$$ - ???

So that would be a 'no', right? Every double banded bird is not a $100 reward.

So does every doubled banded bird have some type of cash reward? Or are there some double banded birds that are just double banded.

And yes, I realize this topic is pretty useless. Just curious.

double bands - $$$ - ???

Does every double banded bird have a $100 reward? My buddy I was hunting with this morning said that someone told him that was the case. I know some bands have a $$$ reward, but ALL of them???

Re: Duck Sausage

goose sausage would be a good idea IMO, but grinding duck into sausage would be like making beef tenderloin sausage. Too much flavoring and processing for such a fine piece of meat.

Re: Good cheap deal on a vacuum sealer

That basically means you get the vacuum sealer for free b/c the bags that come with it are worth that much.

Re: State in Gator Bowl

I wanted the Chik Fil A Bowl as well, and I would have gone. Not going to make the trip to Jacksonville though. You're right, the Outback and Chick Fil A bowls are ranked higher as it pertains to picking teams. The problem was the Outback Bowl. Chick Fil A had very little to do with it. The Outback ...

Re: Anybody shooting the new Versa Max

No there have been no recalls on this gun yet. Yes there were a few minor bugs to be worked out. Remington is just that far behind. They are starting to ship a few now. They should be in the 1300 dollar range for a camo one. There will be only 3" guns available. The 3.5" concept was scrap...

Re: Rumors of Mullen to Miami . . . RUMORS

Prior to the season I got to have dinner with Coach Mullen. I just sat and listened mostly, but I remember him saying that the state of MS has enough talent for one team to win the SEC and have a shot at the national title, but not two. That explains the constant badgering he does to TSUN year round...

Re: Winchester Super X2.....Opinions Please

I bought mine last year from a guy on this site. It has improved my shooting a lot, and not once has it failed to cycle on waterfowl ammunition or high brass. Any field load, low brass, shell is going to give you trouble. Ideally, I'd like the camo SX2 with duratouch finish with a 3" receiver. ...
