Anybody else seeing the bl...

Plainsman04, I burned mine down at planting with Gramoxone, and then once it had a good stand established, knifed in 100 units on N, and then sprayed Atrazine & Dual. I believe Atrazine must be applied before the plant reaches 12" tall.

I replaced that long bridge on, I believe it was Fountainblue Rd, back in 2003 as a mitigation project for the Mississippi Port in Gulfport. The theory was two-fold: Remove the old roadway at elevation 3.0' msl and replace with a bridge at elevation 13.o' msl in order to #1 open up the marsh and all...

Re: Federal Land acquisitions / bad idea?
Hey YazooValley, my recollection of what Gov Kirk Fordice did with regards to the Tallahatchie NWR request to purchase more land in Mississippi, was he refused to sign off on it unless the USF&WS would allow Mississippi (and other southern states) to extend the duck season to the end of January....

Senator Hopson told me today that it passed out of his Judiciary A Committee on Friday with some minor changes to the House language that did have the NRA's approval, and it should be headed to the floor for a vote.

Hang in there Seymore, my daughter went thru an almost exact scenario three years ago when she was in the 7th grade where she was offered cocaine at the study hall table in the library. She snitched and in her naivety she admitted it to the boy that did it, and she went thru unmitigated hell for mon...

Re: "Routine traffic stop"
Highway 61 from Vicksburg to Onward has got to be the most patroled stretch of highway in the entire State. I probably see old Gold Tooth 3 out of 5 trips up that way, and then I'll drive from one end of the State to the other without ever seeing a MHP. He'll also write you up for going "anythi...

From what I understand, the credit reporting agencies that determine your credit rating don't count medical bills because everyone is in arrears paying their medical bills. Collection threats seem to be a normal part of the process.

My father gave me a Submariner when I graduated from college 30 years ago this August, and it has been on my wrist every day since. I'm in the construction business, so I can be kinda hard on them too, but it can take whatever you dish out to it.

I've got all of my stamps going back to 1976, and I just send them a note with a self addressed stamped envelope every year, and they send me my stamp.
